Canucks Blew a Big Opportunity

On Saturday night, the canucks were playing one of the worst teams in the league the phoenix coyotes. they were starting off a 6 game road trip. vancouver looked good early, outshooting phoenix and getting lots of quality chances on the Breezer (Bryzgalov). But Luongo let in some weak goals and Shane O'Brien really fucked up. Firstly, he took a penalty that lead to another penalty that we got scored on. secondly, he took another penalty that we got scored on. and thirdly, he scored on his own net. worst game of the season for O'brien. I would almost consider demoting him to the minors and bringing up vassannen.

while the canucks have won 11 in a row at home, they have lost 4 in a row on the road. With the loss, the canucks blew an opportunity to come within one point of the flames. Tonight the flames play the best team in the league (the detroit red wings). Their next game will be against the hottest team in the league the pittsburgh penguins. the canucks next two games will be against Dallas and St. Louis. this is opportunity number 2 to catch the flames, don't blow it this time canucks.
