How to Draft 101

The reason why the Flames have a horrible draft record is because they always take WHL players.

95% of WHL players become 3rd-4th line grinders if they make the NHL
95% of QMJHL players are goalies if they make the NHL
95% of KHL players are huge dangler pussies if they make the NHL


Clearly the most balanced league to draft from the OHL. They produce players that have skill and also know how to back check. They are the balance of both worlds.

And that is why the Flames will always suck unless they start picking from the O
