All is Lost

With LA being douchebags, Vancouver took hold of the number 3 seed in the west, something that rightfully belongs to Calgary. Their last game is against the lowly Avalanche, while the Flames have to play Edmonton twice. They are almost gaurenteed to lose one of those games, putting the north west crown out of reach, since there is no way the Canucks are losing to Colorado.

The biggest concern for Flames fans is that we drop to the fifth seed and don't even have home ice advantage against the Blackwhores. The same Blackwhores that have scored over 15 goals in three games against Calgary. Kipprusoff sucks against them, the team sucks against them. I would be very surprised if we won the series. The only positive is that most players on that team haven't been in the playoffs, so Calgary will have to use that to their advantage. What was once though to be a sure Stanley Cup win is looking bleak.

Fuck you Vancouver. Fuck you.

  1. i don't think its all sealed up. i think calgary stands a good chance at beating edmonton both games. edmonton is defeated now because they are out of the playoffs. it will be hard for them to bring playoff level hockey to the table, except maybe for their last home game of the season.

    go oil!!!
