Losing Streak Hallelujuah

I am very proud of my vancouver canucks. they have somehow found a way to lose 8 games in a row (9 in a row at home). It something very difficult to do. You'd think that even the worst team in the league flukes out at least once in every 8 games and sneaks out a win. but not the vancouver canucks. at this point in the season it is not crucial that the canucks win. im hoping that they extend their losing streak to an impressive tally of 15 games, and then start turning their season around, just in time to go on a hot streak and make the playoffs. the thing is, as long as you make the playoffs on a hot streak, your team will be just fine.

The longest losing streak in NHL history is the property of the 1974-75 Washington Capitals and the 1992-93 San Jose Sharks, each team losing 17 games in a row.

There is talk about firing vigneault. i wouldn't do that just yet. wait until the end of the season and then fire him if we miss the playoffs. remember when ottawa replaced their coach last season? nothing ended up happening.

all that the canucks need is for luongo to be vezina worthy. right now he is vezina candidate worthy, but not vezina worthy. Once luongo starts winning us games then we will be back on the right track.

And mats sundin has to stop taking penalties late in the game that cost us the game. ive seen him take 3 so far and thats a lot of lost points mats. im not sure how they do it in sweden but the nhl is based on a points system. mats needs to stop being such a lazy swedish bum and start moving his feet.
