On the TSN headlines today, some guy named Daly said that toronto could definitely house another nhl team. I wonder what kind of mentality toronto fans would have with this team? Would maple leaf fans hate the new team? or would you cheer for both teams and increase the likelihood of cheering for a stanley cup champion? Maybe instead of hating each other, the two toronto teams would find a common enemy in ottawa and montreal. maybe the new toronto team would play in the western conference, so toronto fans could expose themselves to more of the league (afterall it was only in the 90's that the maple leafs joined the eastern conference).
what would you name the new toronto team? I would probably call them the the toronto tsunamis. as long as it doesn't offend the south east asian immigrants. but they could just cheer for the maple leafs.
