Friday Ramblings

Canucks haven't played in a few days, but there is plenty of news in the NHL.

Saturday will showcase every team in the NHL playing. It will be a great day for hockey. I am going to my friend Trevor's house (who has NHL Center Ice and parking myself on his couch all day. I might even do some live updates). The first game of the day is NJ vs. Philly at 1pm. I've got a feeling Philly might win this one. Canucks and Oilers at 7. Flames at Phoenix at 7. Sorry Hal, Edmonton TV is going to show the canucks game instead of the flames.

in other hockey news, the calgary flames are the 7th oldest team in the leagueand the canucks are the 18th oldest team. Guess what the youngest team in the league is? That's right, the Chicago Blackhawks.

INJURIES
Canucks Pavol Demitra is out 3-4 weeks with a rib injury and Sami Salo is day-to-day with a groin injury.

For the Flames, beloved superstar Todd BErtuzzi, left the game and is considered day-to-day. BErtuzzi still logged 20 minutes in last nights game, but he did not put up any points.

Hal's "I have a dream" post, really inspired the Flames. They were down 3-1 in the third, and ended up coming back and winning the game 5-3. Iginla had a hatrick. he definitely is the best captain in the game. Instead of showing video from the game, i am going to guess Hal's favorite scene from a movie.
