Minnesota-The Demitra-gaborik combination worked wonders for the past two years. this past year was Minnesotas turn to take the division, and they did so with much success. Unfortunately, the combo has been disastrous in the playoffs, and Minnesota GM Doug Riseborough has gone on record saying that they are not interested in resigning Demitra, only locking up Gaborik to a long term deal.
Vancouver- According to Canada.com: "the Slovak centre decided to come to Vancouver and be shown around by Markus Naslund." Demitra plays right wing and would be the perfect complimentary player to the Sedin twins. Unfortunately, Demitra refuses to play an 82 game season, so if i was Mike Gillis, i would not pay him over 4.5 per season. Also as a side note, Mike Gillis, former player Agent and now current Gm of the Vancouver Canucks, used to be Demitras agent.
