Are the Flames Doomed?

With the way Calgary has been playing of late ie bad goaltending, no heart, shitty matthew lombardi and an injured Alex Tanguay, there is legitimate thought that the Flames could miss the playoffs altogether. Remember spring of 2007 when Colorado reeled off 10 straight wins to fall 1 point out of a playoff spot.

The next 9 games are against interdivisional opponents

Two games vs Avalanche
Two games vs. Wild
Three games vs. Canucks
Two games vs. Oilers

Wild 86 points
Colorado, Vancouver, Calgary are all tied with 84
Edmonton has 79 points and plays Vancouver on Thursday. If Oilers win (which is actually possible since they've ben playing so well, they will only be 3 points back. I am getting nervous and anxious. We need Chuck Kobasew.

These games will have playoff caliber intensity and I am absolutely stoked to watch them. Seriously, it's going to be amazing.

This shows the dumbasses who thought a conference other than the NW was the most competitive.
